I'm a 57-year old bloke with a beard who a couple of years ago, after 22 years church-going, found that there's more to being a Christian than going to church. For me, going out with Outside Light gives me the opportunity to work at close-quarters with God. I'm married with three children - two married - three grandkids. I believe that young people are our future - who else will be paying for my pension? :o) They're worth the small investment of my time because they're made in God's image, just like you and me! You might think that you're not good enough to do any kind of God-work, and therefore you'll come up with at least a dozen good reasons why you can't give it a go. But if you can, with God's grace, get over those hurdle-thoughts, you'll start to discover what God's grace is all about. Doesn't matter if you're fat, thin, 57, 17 or 97. Doesn't matter if you've got a history, got problems, can't see your future. God's got work for you.

Nancy Evans 
I live in Old Woking. I have attended a local church for eight years and taught at Woking High School, from where I know several of the young people we meet on a Tuesday night. Being told by a complete stranger that I would be involved in street work surprised me, but it's been an honour; it's so important to get stuck in!
Nick Hill 
I live in Woking and am happily married to Rachel, I have three daughters Zoe who is 10 from my first marriage, Megan 6 and cerys 4 with Rachel. Over the last 25 years I have been involved with young people firstly Boys Brigade then within a Saturday youth club called Solid Rock. I then assisted in the set up of a charity formally (NEW HAW YOUTH PROJECT)now called EIKON in New Haw who work with young people within surrey schools. Since moving to Old Woking and joining a local church with my wife I have been working within the local community with the young people. I am proud to be a trustee and part of Outside Light. I am passionate about being a good role model and making a difference to the local community.I am also passionate about my family and running hence have run a number of 10k, half marathons and just completed Paris Marathon.
Phil Hazelden 
I live in Woking and have been happily married to Judi for 19 years. I have two sons Jack who is 15 and Ben 12. I have been working in the construction industry for 26 yrs mostly in the local area. I believe that action orientated community work can have a big affect on peoples lives and am glad to be working with Outside Light, meeting different people. My hobbies are: Home renovations, watching films, growing vegetables and the great outdoors. I am involved in this organisation as I have a passion to see the church go into the world and make a difference.
George Osborn 
My background is in sales and marketing although now I work full time for a missionary organisation called Avanti Ministries and have the opportunity to work with prisons, schools, church based events and so on. I have had my life completely transformed by the good news of Jesus Christ and with Outside Light I have a burning passion to see others have the opportunity to hear that news. I love seeing it communicated through both words and action. I live in Woking, love rugby, food and food, oh and food!
